Associate in Research, Duke University, Nicholas School of the Environment and Earth Sciences: The Forest, Soil and Water Lab (1997- 2005)
•Senior Developer and Associate Director of the Long-Term Soil Experiment (LTSE) website, a metadatabase and portal of LTSEs and their data holders (http://ltse.env.duke.edu).
•Database Architect and Data Manager of The Calhoun Experimental Forest. The database combines a multitude of data types across space and time. Methods of data entry, verification and exploration are integrated into the application. (http://calhoun.env.duke.edu)
•Senior Systems Administrator of The Forest, Soil and Water Lab and The Environmental Chemistry Lab. Responsible for the following services: Web servers, Domain Controller, File Server, Database server, Terminal server (Remote Desktop), Graphics work stations and maintained over 30 client PCs.
